Flag the product
Turn on pre-order for a sold-out product you know is coming back; Prestock flips every variant so it keeps selling, capturing each variant's exact prior policy to restore later.
Shoppers buy ahead
The add-to-cart becomes “Pre-order”, with clear messaging about when it ships.
Restore on restock
Disable it (or on Pro, let it toggle off automatically when stock returns) and every variant is restored to its exact prior inventory policy — a precise, audited revert.
Reversible & audited
Like every Tendor app, Pre-orders applies changes as reversible change sets on a per-store, hash-chained audit log — so you can always see what it did and undo it to the exact prior state. How that works →

Is it per product or per variant?
Per product — enabling flips every variant of that product to keep selling past zero, and captures each variant's exact prior policy so disable restores it precisely.
Does the customer know it's a pre-order?
Yes. The button and product messaging make the pre-order and expected timing clear before checkout.
What happens when I uninstall?
Every product Prestock flipped is restored to its prior inventory policy on uninstall, before its data is removed.
Can I schedule a launch before stock arrives?
Yes — on Pro, schedule a product to go on pre-order from a future date, independent of stock, for a launch or drop. When the date arrives Prestock flips it on automatically, with the same reversible change set as a manual enable.
