The problem
A sold-out product is a shopper who was ready to buy and a sale you're about to lose. Most stores just show “out of stock” and hope the customer comes back — they rarely do.
How it works
Shoppers opt in
A “Notify me” button appears on any out-of-stock variant via a theme app block — no code to write.
You restock
Tendor watches inventory off your store's own events; the moment a variant is available again it detects the restock.
They get the email
Each waiting shopper is emailed once, branded as your store, with a link straight back to buy — before it sells out again.
Reversible & audited
Like every Tendor app, Back in Stock Alerts applies changes as reversible change sets on a per-store, hash-chained audit log — so you can always see what it did and undo it to the exact prior state. How that works →
FAQ
Does it send one email per restock?
Yes. Each shopper is claimed exactly once per restock, so nobody is emailed twice for the same event.
Do I need to touch theme code?
No. The opt-in button is an app block you drop into your product template from the theme editor.
What's on the free plan?
A monthly cap of alert emails on the free tier; upgrade to Pro for unlimited sends.
