How it works
Flag the variant
Turn on pre-orders per variant — the ones you know are coming back — and leave the rest as normal.
Shoppers buy ahead
The add-to-cart becomes “Pre-order”, with clear messaging about when it ships.
Fulfil on arrival
Orders arrive as ordinary Shopify orders, tagged so you can fulfil them the moment stock lands.
Reversible & audited
Like every Tendor app, Pre-orders applies changes as reversible change sets on a per-store, hash-chained audit log — so you can always see what it did and undo it to the exact prior state. How that works →

Is it per-variant?
Yes — enable pre-orders only on the specific variants you choose.
Does the customer know it's a pre-order?
Yes. The button and product messaging make the pre-order and expected timing clear before checkout.
Can I cap how many I take?
